Willumsens Museum is a unique art museum dedicated to the Danish artist JF Willumsen. Willumsen is known for his colorful, bold and innovative style. The museum houses both Willumsen's own works and his extensive art collection, which together contains more than 8.000 works. The many works are shown in changing special exhibitions, often accompanied by other exciting artists who challenge and inspire new ways of looking at art.

Our many different tasks require many different professional groups, and therefore our staff represents everything from art historians and visual artists to craftsmen, communication professionals and administrative staff, who work together every day to give our guests the very best experience. In addition, there is a large volunteer corps, consisting of good people with very different backgrounds. We work actively to promote a workplace with room for differences and therefore we encourage all qualified people regardless of personal background to apply for our vacancies.

Do you want to be part of an exciting museum and make a difference for our guests?
We are looking for volunteer museum guards to help look after the art and create safe, positive experiences. We need volunteers of all ages, genders and with different work backgrounds.
Common to all is that we are looking for you who:
  • Have an interest in culture, history or art
  • Is welcoming and service-minded
  • Want to spend 2-3 days a month (3-4 hours per time)
